Vampire Diaries had a few repeat offenders: The Sounds (Priv Prac), Bat For Lashes (VD, Grey’s, MP), White Lies (VD, GG) and some fresh meat. Final Flash reminded me of the Shins, The Longcut was industrial indie pop, Sanders Bohlke contributed an epic folk gem, and while on the Gary Go MySpace page I stumbled upon his cover of Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance” and it’s worth checking out. This was a good playlist from start to finish.

A packed playlist on Gossip Girl, in an episode that including a featured performance from Albert Hammond, Jr. A bunch of bands with places in their names, though predictably, none of them actually from the places in their names: Harlem Shakes (from Brooklyn), Scotland Yard Gospel Choir and Hollywood Holt (both from Chicago). I wonder if Son of Dave is actually the son of a guy named Dave? But my favorite track of the night was from Delta Spirit.
